Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal has been, from a statistical standpoint, the most creative player in Europe across the year to date.
That’s according to Score 90 (citing Transfermarkt), who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.
Lamine, for his part, is fresh off adding yet another assist to his tally this past weekend.
Afforded a starting berth in Spain’s Nations League meeting with Switzerland, the 17-year-old laid on Joselu’s opener, en route to an eventual 4-1 rout.
This marked the 21st occasion on which Lamine has teed up a teammate’s goal this calendar year, at a rate of just shy of one assist every two games.
This is the most of any player in Europe’s top-5 leagues, when taking into consideration efforts across all competitions, including the international stage.
Next on the list comes Manchester City talisman Kevin De Bruyne with 18, followed by Alejandro Grimaldo, Kylian Mbappé, and Nico Williams.
