Stocks to Watch on July 10, 2024: Equity benchmark indices rebounded on Tuesday, with Sensex and NSE Nifty hitting their fresh all-time high levels during the afternoon trade, amid buying in blue-chip stocks, firm global market trends and foreign fund inflows.
The 30-share BSE Sensex made a new high of 80,397.17. It closed with a solid gain of 391.26 points or 0.49 per cent at 80,351.64. The NSE Nifty opened on a positive note and continued to inch higher throughout the day to close with gains of 112.65 points or 0.46 per cent at 24,433.20. The index hit a new record peak of 24,443.60.
Meanwhile, GIFT Nifty on Wednesday, at 7:38 AM, was trading around 24,484, indicating a tepid start for the benchmark in Nifty50 and Sensex may start today’s session on a tepid note. The focus though will be on the Nifty Bank ahead of its weekly options expiry.
The state-owned firm has emerged as the lowest bidder for a project valued at ₹202.87 crore from the South Eastern Railway.
The company has also received an order worth Rs 187.34 crore from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited for the construction of elevated metro stations.

Delta Corp reported a 34% fall in its standalone net profit to Rs 40.48 crore for the first quarter ended June 2024. The same stood at Rs 61.43 crore in the last year period. Revenue from operations in the reporting period declined 16% year-on-year to Rs 143 crore.
Adani Power’s unit, Mahan Energen, has entered into a 20-year power purchase agreement for 500 MW with Reliance Industries. Reliance Industries acquired a 26% stake in one of Mahan Energen’s 600 MW thermal power units for the agreement.
Mahindra & Mahindra announced a special celebratory ex-showroom price for the AX7 range. The automaker reduced the prices of top-end variants of the XUV700 SUV by almost Rs 1 lakh. The celebratory pricing is for four months only.
Bansal Wire Industries will make its D-Street debut on July 10 after it received a strong demand from market participants across all categories. Priced at Rs 256 per share, the stock is expected to list at a premium of around 30%, potentially opening at around Rs 330-340 per share.
