Slot machines being rolled onto gaming floor at new Live! Casino in Bossier City

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) – Slot machines at the new Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana in Bossier City will be rolled onto the gaming floor Thursday (Dec. 12).

More than 1,000 new slot machines and electronic table games will be installed at the new $270 million casino late Thursday afternoon. Live! is the first land-based casino in Shreveport-Bossier.

Live! Casino and Hotel is hiring as it prepares to open its new Bossier City location.

The gaming floor is 47,000 square feet and features slot machines such as Frankenstein, Whitney Houston, Cash Express, Dragon Cash, Dragon Link, Buffalo Revolution, and Wheel of Fortune. There are also high denomination slots such as Cash Machine, Double Diamond Pinball, and Double Top Dollar.

The new casino will also feature more than 40 live-action table games, a Sportsbook, a luxury hotel with 550 available rooms and suites, a fitness center, a pool, six restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues, and 25,000 square feet of convention/event space.

Officials say the new casino should be open sometime during the first quarter of 2025.
