Sky News said the regulator has launched an urgent investigation after the outlet’s report into the alleged practices by BloxFlip, Bloxmoon and RBLXWild.
The report said that users on Bloxmoon have lost US$11.4m on the website since its 2022 launch.
The casinos allegedly allow children to use their Roblox accounts and Robux in-game currency to play games such as slots and blackjack.
A Roblox spokesperson said that the casinos are “in no way endorsed or authorised” by the company. They said Roblox has taken action to “pursue the owners” of the websites but that it welcomes “further law enforcement action and vigilance” from web hosting providers.
