Belmore Court & Motel was awarded the GREATest Room Quality in Europe at the 2024 GuestRevu GREAT Awards.
The awards ceremony, held at Tapa Tapa Wine Bar during WTM London, celebrates excellence in hospitality across Europe and the Americas.
The AA Four Star Silver-rated guest accommodation was the only Irish property shortlisted in the category.
This achievement was complemented by nominations in three additional categories; GREATest in Europe (50-99 Rooms), GREATest Service, and GREATest Cleanliness.
The awards, which analysed more than 75,000 guest reviews from 55 countries, represent the pinnacle of guest satisfaction and service excellence in the hospitality industry.
Data was collected through GuestRevu’s reputation management product, GuestRevu LITE, with reviews from Google, TripAdvisor, and Booking.com.
Terry McCartney, owner and manager of Belmore Court & Motel, said: “Receiving the GREATest Room Quality award is an extraordinary honour that validates our team’s commitment to excellence across our entire range of accommodations.
“We pride ourselves on offering exceptional quality rooms for every budget, from our standard self-contained rooms to our superior and executive rooms and our exclusive lodge at Lough Erne.
“As a certified sustainable accommodation with Green Tourism and a proud member of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Global Geopark Sustainability Network, this recognition shows that our dedication to both quality and sustainability resonates with guests at every price point.
“Being shortlisted in four categories and winning this prestigious award demonstrates that our comprehensive approach to hospitality is setting new standards in the industry.”
The rigorous evaluation process was overseen by Dr. Wouter Hensens, executive dean at Stenden South Africa, ensuring objective analysis of the data.
Shortlisted properties achieved impressive scores in the 90 per cent range, highlighting the exceptional standards maintained by the winners.
