Barcelona have signed off another rollercoaster year as the top scoring team in Europe’s top five leagues.
Hansi Flick’s side ended the calendar year with 96 goals to their name, finishing above the likes of Bayern Munich, Inter, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

Barca’s top scorer this year is of course striker Robert Lewandowski. The Poland international has actually netted 40 goals in all competitions over the last 12 months.
Lewandowski is also leading the goalscoring charts again in La Liga this season, although he has attracted criticism in recent games after missing some great chances to add to his tally.
There’s also been speculation that Barca could look to replace Lewy this summer as the striker will celebrate his 37th birthday in August.
One of the names mentioned as a possible successor is Viktor Gyokeres – incidently he’s the only man to outscore Lewandowski this year. Gyokeres is on 52 goals and has been tipped to move on in the summer
