New Jersey online casinos aren’t the only ones getting new games and features. At Hard Rock Atlantic City in New Jersey right now, you can play a new slot centered around six-time Grammy award-winning artist Whitney Houston.
The game was developed by International Game Technology (IGT) and debuted in June.
If you’re curious about where to find this slot at Hard Rock Atlantic City, it should stand out quite well.
The game stands 11 feet tall and has two 55-inch 4K curved LCD monitors. This enables the game to have high-quality graphics and sound effects. You can also find a “Whitney Houston” text logo across the machine.
While playing, you’ll be able to listen to some of her hit songs like “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “So Emotional,” and “How Will I Know.”
You can access these games through symbols, bonus game content, seeing her photos in the game, and via concert footage you’ll find while playing.
Other notable symbols include a collection of platinum records, which signify a re-spin bonus.
“IGT is thrilled to bring the new star-studded Whitney Houston Slots game to casino floors across the U.S.,” said Nick Khin, IGT Chief Operating Officer, Gaming, via a press release. “Whitney Houston slots exemplifies IGT’s winning formula for licensed game themes: a world-class entertainment experience combined with a precise alignment of the licensed theme fan base and the slot player demographic.”
Houston passed away in February 2012, but this game became possible after collaborating with The Estate of Whitney E. Huston and Primary Wave Music.
The highest jackpot from this game is $500,000.
Hard Rock Atlantic City posted a video of the slot on their Instagram, which you can view to see how the game looks.
New Jersey retail casinos have been getting quite creative lately with their new game titles, offering up more that are themed in pop culture. We recently saw Ace Ventura: Pet Detective and Cheers launch at BetMGM, and the same casino added a slot for The Godfather in 2023.
We’ll see how these new games translate to monthly revenue figures in June, July, and beyond.
