A man collapsed and apparently suffered a medical incident at a casino after he won a multi-million jackpot, according to reports.
Video circulating on social media purportedly shows the man unconscious on the floor at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
In the footage, the man is splayed out on the floor as a woman screams next to him. Another woman appears to tend to the man as a crowd of onlookers gather.
Casino.org on Tuesday reported it happened recently when the man was playing a “high-stakes game” and won a S$4 million — which translates to U.S. $2.95 million.
Several social media users captioned the video by saying the man died due to the shock and excitement of hitting the jackpot. But Casino.org noted the man suffered a heart attack while celebrating but survived.
Many social media reports suggested the man died, but those reports were inaccurate and the man is recovering and is expected to enjoy his riches once back to full health,” according to Casino.org.
The man has not been identified. His condition wasn’t immediately known.
