Reports have now confirmed that one of the biggest clubs in Europe has submitted a bid to sign Mason Greenwood permanently in the June 2024 transfer window.
According to reports, Juventus is set to bid for England and Manchester United player Mason Greenwood, which is expected to fall short of Manchester United’s asking price. While United values Greenwood at £50 million, Juventus is prepared to pay at least £40 million to bring the player to Turin.
Greenwood has attracted interest from several European clubs, including Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid amidst his controversy. However, reports indicate that the forward is keen on a move to Turin and has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Juventus.
The English star was loaned to Getafe last summer after Manchester United opted not to retain him following backlash from fans and staff over charges of rape, assault, and coercive and controlling behaviour, which were later dropped. Greenwood had a productive season in La Liga, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists in 33 matches in the 2023/2024 season.
With Manchester United determined to let the forward leave permanently this summer, the 22-year-old is hopeful that the Red Devils and Juventus can reach an agreement on the transfer fee, allowing him to start his future in Turin with Thiago Motta’s team in the upcoming 2024/2025 season.
Greenwood’s talent and creativity would be a valuable addition to the Juventus squad. Napoli has also shown interest in the England international.
