KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A temporary Kings Mountain casino built while the actual $700M sprawling casino and resort is being constructed now offers live table games, casino officials announced this week.
Catawba Two Kings Casino has launched 12 live tables that include craps, roulette, mini-baccarat, blackjack, Mississippi stud poker, and three-card poker.
“While we are thrilled that construction is underway on our major casino resort, we are continuing to invest in our current gaming facility to broaden its appeal to residents and visitors to the greater Charlotte area and South Carolina,” Catawba Nation Chief Brian Harris said. “We anticipate the live table games will be very popular and give people who have not been to the casino a great reason to visit.”
The first phase of the permanent casino, located about 35 miles west of Charlotte, is expected to open in 2026.
