Having scored Jersey’s first T20 international century on Sunday, Harrison Carlyon had the opposite experience as he was bowled by Ali Nayyer for one off the fourth ball.
It got worse for Jersey two overs later when Nayyer claimed Nick Greenwood’s wicket for five as he was caught at point to leave Jersey on 19-2 off 2.4 overs.
Jenner came in and smashed 26 off the fourth over, but five balls later Zak Tribe was bowled by Abdullah Rana for seven to leave Jersey on 54-3.
Jenner and Brennan added 59 for the fourth wicket before Jenner – who hit four sixes and six fours – was caught at the start of the 11th over.
Brennan went on to hit five sixes in his rapid half-century before he was trapped lbw by Nayyer, who finished with figures of 3-30.
Dominic Blampied made a quickfire 29 off 18 balls before being run out as Jersey ended on 219-9 – their second-highest score in a T20 international.
